Chapter 42
I reached out to the author of Fish in a Tree, Lynda Mullaly Hunt, and she wanted me to send her greetings to all of you- so exciting!!
She also told me that she posts videos of her reading every 8th chapter. It worked out that she has one for chapter 42! Here is the link, enjoy!

Static Electricity Activity
Here is a fun activity you can try if you have the items around your home. The only items that are needed are the two balloons. If you don't have all of the other items, don't worry about it, you can try this with other things as well, be creative.
Go through the steps then answer the questions on a piece of paper or in a Word document made in your school account. You can share your Word document with me or your parents can email me a picture of your answers if you would like me to have a look. Have fun!!

Static electricity
Here's a little review on our talks about static electricity. There are some questions under the video, but you need to create an account to answer them. Only create an account if you have the permission of your parents AND they would like you to answer the questions to review your knowledge.

Mathletics Update
I want you to know that the Mathletics activities that have been posted are not mandatory and should only be done if you are wanting extra supplemental work for your child.
Mathletics
I have updated everyone's Mathletics assignments. Everyone is to be starting with the Number Sense 3 list of items. There is plenty there, but if you should finish it then you can go back to Number Sense 1 & 2 to complete any unfinished activities.

A letter to my students
Dearest students,
I want every one of you to know that I think of you and pray for you each day. I wonder how you are and hope that you and your family are healthy.
The world quickly became a different place from the time that I last saw you. What did not change is how much I care about every one of you.
Know that I will be in touch soon so that we can continue to learn and grow together. I don't know what that will look yet, as we are all learning how to adapt to what is happening. In the meantime, please be safe.
Feel free to comment and say hello below. I would love to hear how you are, and I'm sure you classmates would as well.
Blessings and good health to you and your family,
Mrs. Jones
